Great Central Plastics Get Into The Giving Spirit

On Friday the 12th of December, people all over the UK could be seen rocking their Christmas Cardi’s in aid of raising money for charity ‘Save The Children’.

We decided to participate and our staff came to work in their festive jumpers and accessories, hoping to win best dressed. We later announced our two winners...Rowan Wilson and Wendy Scott... and they received a chocolaty prize.

Amber Crighton and Bal Phillips made some cookies and cakes for the occasion, and staff made a donation for the tasty treats and played ‘The Snow Sweepstakes’ (guess the jumper sweepstakes), in order to raise more money.

We had a lot of fun participating in the Christmas Jumper Day are pleased to announce we raised an impressive £100. In true Christmas spirit, as a company, we decided to match the amount, making the grand total raised £200.

The government are also fund matching all the money raised for Save The Children through the Christmas Jumper Day, so in effect we have raised £400 for the charity.

Thanks to all our staff for participating and giving generously.
